Layer no longer centered onto canvas in the "export as" menu

Hi I found the most efficient way to export all my images when I'm done it to move them all to a big psb in the dimensions and resolution I need to export them in and then resizing/centering/exporting them all there. Only problem is when I go to export the images are no longer centered how I had set them up. Does anyone have any explanation or solutions?

Here's an example:

Here it is more or less centered

And now when I go to export it you can see how now the image has moved noticably to the left

Putting in the canvas size and file type I need to export it doesn't fix it

Your image isn't really centered. My screen shot shows cropping down to where yours is cropped, and I made sure is was cropped from the center. Frankly, I wouldn't skimp on cropping, as just a little error can cause some really bad images.

Perfectly centered or not, how comes it shifts to the left of the canvas when exporting the layer? Look how it 'moves' horizontally to the left from image 1 to image 2/3.

edit: just to add - the issue (of course) goes away when adding a white bg to the layer with the paint bucket tool
