Layers not showing, even though they are on. Please help! :)

I have recently run into an issue with photoshop not showing my layers, even though they are toggled on.

This particular file is used to change the backgrounds out on debit cards featuring local schools. Usually, the mock up information stays the same and I'm able to toggle the hide/unhide button to show the correct layer. However, those layers are no longer showing up when I click on them. Each school folder typically contains a school name, logo, and a backgorund. It also seems that the images in each folder have disappeared, but photoshop isn't showing me any linking errors.

I have attached a screen shot of my photoshop to help with this. In the layers panel, you can see the sample layers are selected and showing, but the school folders at the bottom are not showing up when they should be. I would very much appreciate any help on this as this is a rather important file that we use! Thanks -Grace

First thing we see is your video driver is 16 months old: Quadro P2200/PCIe/SSE2

Please update to the latest and restart Ps and see if that fixes this issue.

Thank you for your response! Is the system info a very long list? Just want to make sure I'm linking the correct information. Unfortunately the settings fix did not work.

Hi @gtalley_100bank sorry to hear this.

Are you having this issue with all layered files you open in Ps or just this one?

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere:

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
