Licensing Issues for User with More than 2 Working Units

One user can only use a Creative Cloud license on two units. I have mine installed on a Windows computer and a Windows laptop.  As I got a new MacBook Pro which would be my 3rd unit, I cannot buy a new license and dedicate it to my existing user. Instead, I have to create a new user, which means I will have different accounts and logins, and my Adobe apps on my phone will not be working with my new ID. I can assign more licenses without any hassle from e.g. On1 and Luminar Neo. Why does the Adobe licensing program have to be so backwards? I purchased a new license to add it to my existing user, but I am not allowed to. I am sure I am not the only user who needs Creative Cloud on more than two units, so I hope Adobe can make some changes here to make it easier for us to assign more than one license to existing user. Thanks!

I agree in principle.

In the meantime, there is no limit to how many units you can have it installed on. It's fairly easy to sign out of one and into another. You can even sign in on the third unit and then choose which one of the other two will be signed out. In other words, it can be done remotely, you don't have to have both units in front of you.

So yes, agreed, but it's work-around-able without too much effort.

Hmm, so what you are saying is that I can sign out of my Windows laptop and then sign in on my MacBook Pro and it will work? It only counts number of sign ins and not number of computers/laptops?

Thanks for your input here. I was not aware of that I only had to sign out from one unit to sign in on another one. I successfully did and you are right, it is not that much hassle to do it. I wish the support guy could have told me this, instead of me adding a new license to a new user I had to create. Thanks again for your valuable input 🙂

How recently did you purchase the new license? Adobe allows a full refund within 14 days.
