Lighting effects - no adjustment handles shown

Hello,

when I apply lighting effecst, e.g. 5 spots, the effects on the image are shown, I can adjust colour and intensities.

But what is missing: there are absolutely no boundary lines of the lighting effect and hence no handling points.

This makes this important function practically unusable - please help!

What are the View > Show > … and View > Extras settings?

Use View Extra Show ALL the show ALL extras then use Use View Extra Show the not show the grid. One light controls should be active.
