Question

Lines on screen every time I open ps?

So I was in the middle of a project (I'm kinda new to Photoshop by the way) and I clicked on the custom shape tool adn all of a sudden it just froze. I waited for a few minutes, nothing. So I restart my computer, right? The problem was, as soon as my computer was up and running again, I open photoshop, fine all good right? I open my most recent project and there's nothing but lines and nothing else. I can still click on where the tabs would be but it doesn't change the actual screen. I opened a new project, same thing. Has this happened to anyone else? Please let me know. (there're also no new updates for photoshop or adobe cc so I'm not really sure what to do)

It looks like it might be an issue with your graphics card. Try Preferences > Performance > Legacy Compositng and / or update the driver on your graphics card.
