Issue: When using Liquify filter, the preview window shows the image at a lower than actual resolution.

  • Photoshop version: v25.4
  • OS: Windows 11, version 23H2

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a photoshop document.
  2. Apply the liquify filter
  3. While using the liquify filter, the resolution of the image degrades in the preview window
  4. Once changes have been made and the filter applied, the resulting image is not degraded.
  5. Preferences > Performance > "Use Graphics Prossessor" is Checked.
  6. When I uncheck "Use Graphics Prossessor" the liquify preview loads slower, but full res.
  7. When I revert back to Photoshop v25.3.1, the liquify filter has a full res preview window.

Expected result: Full resolution preivew/working window when using liquify filter
Actual result: Lower resolution preivew/working window when using liquify filter. When changes have been applied, the resulting image in the main photoshop document are the proper resolution.

Photoshop does say my GPU is compatible.
