Question
Liquify filter low resolution preview/working window in PS v25.4
Issue: When using Liquify filter, the preview window shows the image at a lower than actual resolution.
- Photoshop version: v25.4
- OS: Windows 11, version 23H2
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a photoshop document.
- Apply the liquify filter
- While using the liquify filter, the resolution of the image degrades in the preview window
- Once changes have been made and the filter applied, the resulting image is not degraded.
- Preferences > Performance > "Use Graphics Prossessor" is Checked.
- When I uncheck "Use Graphics Prossessor" the liquify preview loads slower, but full res.
- When I revert back to Photoshop v25.3.1, the liquify filter has a full res preview window.
Expected result: Full resolution preivew/working window when using liquify filter
Actual result: Lower resolution preivew/working window when using liquify filter. When changes have been applied, the resulting image in the main photoshop document are the proper resolution.
