Liquify preview not working after updating to 23.1.0

Community Beginner ,

After updating to 23.1.0 the preview for Liquify no longer works.  Neither the brushes or the Face-Aware tools in liquify show real time changes to the image. Once I click OK the changes show up. Preview is checked. Everything was working prior to the update. Thanks

OK. Let's get back to a known default state in case there is a stale setting somewhere:

If you restore your preferences using this manual method does it work correctly?
https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually
If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

If you hold down the option key when you select Filter > Liquify, does the preview show correctly?

Hi! I'm having this problem as well. Liquify works but I cannot see the preview when I'm working on it. So you're basically working blind. I have searched every post in the Adobe Community and Google and have tried all recomendations and none have worked. I have a Mac with the latest versions of Photoshop and Photoshop Beta, my graphics card is up to date, I have reset my preferences, uninstalled and reinstalled both. It used to work but stopped working a few months ago and I'm not sure why. I haven't installed any new software or anything else crazy. Help lol

Hi Jeffrey,

No, the preview doesn't show correctly when I do that.  When I hold down the option key the image opens up with the Face-aware liquify panel grayed out. The other panels are operational. I'm still not able to preview the reults of the warp tool. When I select OK to commit the changes it takes a long time for the window to close and the changes to take place. The image is also slightly soft in the Liquify window. When I hold down the option key before selecting Liquify it opens as sharp as the original image. I tried going back to version 22.5.4 but that didn't soleve the problem. Neither did reseting the preferences.

Do you still have the Settings folder that was bad? I would like to get a copy of it. Thanks.
