Liquify tool leaving hard white line

I've tried a bunch of times with the mask tool, no matter what I do I end up with this hard white line when I hit OK. Is there anyway to prevent this?

Which version of  Photoshop are you using? Can you please check if the graphics processor is enabled or not (Preferences> Performance)? Is it happening specifically with this image or other images as well?
