Liquify tool problem

Liquify tool doesn't work on the two newest vesions of photoshop. It works on the 2020 one, but it lacks certain features so I don't want to use it. The problem is:

Look at the bottom right of your screenshot. You don't have the 'Preview' checkbox checked.
