Liquify UI

When using liquify, is it possible to show background layer(s), the selected layer as it is being manipulated, but NOT the selected layer in it's original state?

To me, seeing the original state of the selected layer, makes it difficult to see the effects of manipulations. But I still need to see the underlying layer(s) as a template.

Is there a setting that shows the underlaying layer(s), and the selected layer ONLY as it is being altered?

(I can't think of any way to express this more clearly)

thanks

Duh. I got it. I just selected the base layer, set to behind, and voila.
