Load Files into Photoshop Layers is gone

This is a function I used all the time.  But I let CC update all my apps and now the simple click click in bridge has been moved to file/scripts/Load files into stack/browse (navigate through windows explorer where i see file names instead of thumbnails rather than bridge where I"m looking at the files for crying out loud) / OK/OK.

Is there any way to tell Photoshop...or it's developers that I'd rather not take three times the number of clicks and a much more complicated method of navigating to the files I want to combine?

Oooooo.  I may have shot myself in the foot.  I rebuilt my laptop and used the "wayback machine".  Once done I updated all the apps.  BUT...looking at bridge it says it's version 7.0.0.93.  I'm betting I just THINK I'm using the current version, which I think broke something, when in reality I may be using an old version that didn't have it in the first place.

    Hi Andy,

    • Both commands are still there for me. Here is Bridge > Tools > PS > Load Files into PS Layers
    • And here is PS > Scripts > Load Files into Stack

I have Bridge 9.0.3.279. What do you have?

Yep...that was the problem.  I feel a fool.  I'd like to say that I'm usually smarter than that but........

    Hi Andy,

That does sound like a frustrating experience, we're sorry to hear about a bad experience with the update.
