PS Version 25.4 LRC Version 13.2

Mac OS 13.6.2. MacBook Pro M1Max

Select image in Lightroom Classic, and Photo>Edit In>Edit in Adobe Photoshop 2024

-or-

Simply select an image to open from directly whithn PS

PS loads image as background layer either 1) distorted or 2) image not visible (see attachment)

In both cases I see the thumbnail of the image in the layers box, but cannot see the image no matter what I do.

In PS Version 25.3.1, sometimes the image loads distorted, but I can unlock the layer to see the corrected image.

Hey, @jeffc6280175. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll move this to discussions for now and help you figure this out.

Before troubleshooting, update the macOS on your machine & Photoshop to the latest version (v25.5.1) via the Creative Cloud desktop app & check if the issue exists.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!
