Loading a Set of Actions with a Script?

I tried to write an action to load or replace a set of actions but it seems it can not be done with an action.

Can a script do this? Up to now I just go to replace actions and navigate to them but a button in the action palette would be great.

All questions I made or make here is to streamline PS to use as a Special Event Program.

Did you ever get this figured out, I could use this as well.

If they are actions you use every day, you could put them in the

Photoshop Actions folder at:

C:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop CS/Presets/Photoshop Actions.

Once they are in that folder, they will show up in action palette flyout

menu.

I have no problems with saving and loading or replacing actions. I have many, many sets. What I want to do is: using an action invoking a script in each set to load an other set, if this can be done. An action alone to my knowledge can not load another set. I also try to avoid clicking on this little arrow to bring up the flyout menu.

The setup I have is for a fast paced environment, switching constanly to different sets of actions. I can load several sets at a time because the sets have over a hundred actions and would use too much real estate or too much scrolling.

Any way thanks for posting.
