where are the temporary edits in photoshop cc
This location is wherever you choose to save the document. If you open a PSD, and then save as JPEG, without changing the file or folder location, it will most likely be saved in the same location from where you opened the PSD.

Hi there,
Are you not referring to the Edit History in Ps? This is found on the History tab. The history remains as long as your document is open. If you save it as a PSD, JPEG, etc. and close the file, this history is saved to the file and cleared. When you open the document again the previous history will be gone.
If you save the document as a PSD, the Layer structure is saved, unless you have flattened or merged the layers.

Yes As Dave told if you are looking for history then go to windows in photoshop and select History.

Not in history. If you do a "SAve AS' to convert a PSD to JPG the location default is Temporary Edit location.

Okay my question is where can I access the temporary edits folder in finder? I see the folder when I choose "save as", but cannot find it in finder.

Hi Emily! I see the last time you posted this comment was back in 2020. By any chance did you ever find this answer? I'm in the same situation...

Hi Jose! Yes, I actually found a work-around that works! It's been a while so I'll try and remember how I did it the best I can. So what I do to access it is I save a different file to temporary edits, search for that file name in finder, trash the document, and then go to the trash and select "put back", and the then the temporary files folder will automatically pop up!

Hi! I have used this route to delete my Temporary Edit files: Finder / Pictures / Lightroom Library / Show Package Contents / Temporary Edits. Highlight to select the files you wish to delete and right click to select Move to Bin.

I had the same issue. trying to edit in Photoshop but whenever I save , instead of it showing up in Lightroom CC, it ends up in the infamous un-findable "Temporary Edits" folder
But, if you select "Save As" in Photoshop on a photo you exported from Lightroom CC it defaults to save it in Temporary Edits - while the save window is active you can see other saved edits - right click on a greyed out exitsting file and click "Show in Finder" and it will open in Finder and you can access everything.
Hope that helps

I have just lately exploring Lightroom CC and like many users only to find that saving an edited image from Photoshop ended up in the TemporaryEdits Folder and I followed your path to that folder, on my iMac it resides along this path: iMac HD/Users/barrythompson/Pictures/Lightroom Library.lrlibrary/TemporaryEdits
When you arrive at the Library.lrlibrary folder one has to right click to Show Package contents and that gains access to the TemporaryEdits folder.
Another strange occurance is where the location of exported images are located, I found it at the end of this path: iMac HD/Users/<user name>/Pictures/Lightroom Saved Photos
