Looking at the spec, it would appear to meet the minimum spec in that it supports Direct X 12 and has 2GB VRAM. However, as a 7 year old GPU and past end of life, it may be limited going forward as the recommended spec is for 4GB VRAM

We see so many people having issues with some of Photoshop's newer features like Neural filters when running old hardware.  I had the same issue with a system that was six years old, but high end when new, and crashed every single time at the same place with Neural filters.  I also agree with Dag that you are more likely to encounter issues with AMD GPUs with Photoshop.  You are not going to have the best experience if you try to get away with minimum spec and older components with Photoshop.

I would also, off the record, not recommend AMD. Their business is gaming, and AMD has a rather high proportion of the problem reports here in the forum. Worse, they are usually diffuse and non-specific, just crashing and bad performance and so on, and I suspect a lot of it is caused by overclocking and special gaming modifications that don't play well in Photoshop.

Nvidia RTX 3060 would be perfect for Photoshop 22.2. RTX 3000-series is previous generation and can probably be found at a discount.

I have the same graphic card and I can confirm that the GPU is working fine, even with the latest version 26.

But you have to make sure to install the Studio version of the driver and not the Game Ready version.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 24H2 -- LR-Classic 14 - Photoshop 26 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 5 - Topaz PhotoAI 4

I use Radean RX 580 4GB on Win 11 previously without any problem with Ps. But new Adobe Substanse 3D Viewer (Beta) asks about new GPU. Now I use Nvidia RTX 4060 8GB with Game Driver and it work better.
