LR photos won't open in PS

Hello,

Last Saturday, July 29, 2023, I did a Photoshop update.  Since doing that update I cannot take a photo out of Lightroom CC to Photoshop.   

this is what happens.....I select a photo in lightroom cc, go to photo on the top of the page, scroll down to edit in, then to adobe photoshop 2023.   Photoshop does open but not with the photo I selected out of LR.  It just opens to the homepage of photoshop where it shows the photos you have worked on recently.

Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

    I uninstalled PS beta and reinstalled the regular photoshop. That solved
    thr problem. I'll never install a beta again.

      it should keep your settings. i unclicked auto updates.

        I guess I will have to try to uninstall and reinstall since the update today, sept. 11, did not fix the problem.  The problem being I can't open a photo from LR in PS.   I really do not want to do this as I will lose all my custom settings and brushes and such that I have imported.

            I had to uninstall the buggy and useless Photoshop Beta. It's practically a virus. It did awful things to my computer.

              Downgrade to last version (24.6) and it works 🙂

                  I came here to say the same! I just had to go to the older version of photoshop!

                    i went on the adobe app and installed the version of photoshop from just before the last update and now it works. the latest update is the problem.

                      Yes, I have the same problem with PS 2023 AND PS (Beta)...works if I select file to open in PS 2022.

                      Up until a week ago the Beta version worked fine....
