Luminar Neo Plugin in PS2024 not working

Community Beginner ,

I am setting up a new Mac computer with a M1 chip with the latest version of software for the machine and apps.  When I go to PS 2024 -->Filters I see "Skylum Software" there but it is grayed out and not selectable.  I have installed latest Luminar Neo PS plugin from Luminar Neo program.  I see the Luminar Neo plugin in multiple locations such as PS 2024 Filter Folder and Creative Cloud CC Plugin folder.  I am running Photoshop with with and withou Rosetta launch but no difference.  Any ideas??

Please disregard question, I figured out the problem due to a silly mistake.  The PSD file I kept opening to test the filter plugin was the problem, a layer that is not editable by Filters was selected by mistake, selecting a full picture layer showed the filter plugins to work correctly.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
