LUTs and Color Look-up

I have 2025 Photoshop (25.0), and I wanted to change a photo from day to night. Everywhere I look, the tutorials tell me to do layer adjustment > color look-up.. My version doesn't have color look-up. I also went into my Adobe presets and it doesn't have a LUTs folder. The internet tells me to add one. I tried that with pasting .cube doc (with a few free lut packages I found) and it has no effect... I restart the program and nothing. I don't know what I am doing wrong or why my version doesn't even have an option to do color lookup... Help!

Yes that makes a difference since Photoshop Elements 2025 or any Photoshop Elements version doesn't include a Color Lookup Adjustment or Adjustment Layer.

You can, however, if your interested, get one of two third party add-ons that give Photoshop Elements the ability to have a Color Lookup Adjustment Layer.

You have Photoshop 2025 or Photoshop Elements 2025?

In Photoshop go to Help>System Info and look at the top line to see the the Adobe Photoshop Version

Dear Diepretty, just for clarity, Photoshop

2024 = version 25.x (25.12.4 is the last update for this version)

2025 = version 26.x (current: 26.10)

My Ps 2024 and 2025 apps have the Color Lookup adjustment.

I see 27 lookup files in Adobe Photoshop 2025>Presets>3DLUTs (.look, .cube, .3DL).

Not trying to get my chocolate in c.e.'s peanut butter, just demoing another community member's situation.

@OGdiepretty yep....another known issue with recent Photoshop updates. It's not you, it's a bug that has affected some users of Photoshop version 25.0 and newer versions. The "Color Lookup" adjustment layer and the LUTs that come with it can be missing. Yep, you are right, you need to add one. The issue is that some of the presets, including the default LUTs, do not automatically migrate to new versions of Photoshop. This can leave you with an empty LUTs folder and a missing "Color Lookup" option in your adjustment layer menu.

I have watched this video before and does not apply to me. My Photoshop doesn't have look up at all. I can't download through the program. I tried adding a luts folder because my version doesn't even have one in the presets. This video essentially shows me what I can't do.
