Not sure why, but I can no longer access various keyboard shortcuts anymore.

Image/canvas size is no longer working.

Any idea why?

So these will no longer work with Sierra?

Seems to be working now; not sure if resetting the preferences did the trick, though.

When using Photoshop 16.0.0 with Mac OS 10.9 or later, there is a problem that keyboard shortcuts do not work. Have you updated to Photoshop 16.0.5 or later?

    This is 13.0.

    Never had a problem before.

    I'm sorry, the version number was wrong. 16.0.0-> 13.0.0, 16.0.5-> 13.0.5.

Hold down Cmd-Opt-Shift  Start Photoshop  Don't release the keys until you see this:

Don't think this is an option in CS6.

    For CS:

If you need a quick and dirty way to restore your preferences, here's a way you can do it using a keyboard shortcut on launch:
Windows - double-click the PS icon to start Photoshop
    Immediately Hold down CTRL-SHIFT-ALT
You will see a delete preferences dialog. Click “yes".
Macintosh - Hold down CMD-SHIFT-OPTION instead.

Anytime someone tells me the problem came on all of a sudden, I suspect the preferences got corrupted writing to drive on exit.

I had to reinstall the OS (Sierra.)

I'm afraid to reset, will I lose all my brushes, actions, etc.?

No, this just resets Photoshop, it does not touch your Presets.

I can suggest a Preferences reset as the settings file sometimes gets corrupted.

Also did you upgrade MacOS recently?
