Mac won't load Photoshop brush packs

I've upgraded to CC 2018, but am having trouble opening new brush packs from the Adobe site. I receive the error message, "Could not load the brushes “megapack.abr” because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered.", followed by "Could not complete your request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file." The download is 259.5 mb in size, so there is certainly something available. I've worked exclusively from the preset manager, not from a browser. How shall I go about opening this? Thanks!

This problem was solved by copying and pasting the URL from the link provided by the preset manager into Firefox. I assume it was a browser problem. Thanks for your time.

Hi rlaughy,

Could you please take a look at this discussion Photoshop: Could not load actions because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered | Photoshop Family Customer Communit… and let us know if that helps?

Thanks,

Akash

Thanks for your response, Akash. I'm afraid I'll need a bit more hand-holding on this. "...Photoshop preferences folder on your system." doesn't provide me a familiar context. Small words. Detailed sentences. Thanks!
