MacOS 13 Ventura + Photoshop v24.0.1 issue with Wacom Intuos Photo

Wacom tablet's Express Keys standard settings ("modifiers" Shift, Cmd, Opt, and Ctrl) are frozen in Photoshop v24.0.1 under MscOS 13 Ventura. It means, user settings can be set in the Tablet app as intended but they don't work. Attached screenshot shows the situation for my setting "Brush Size (larger) - keyboard shortcut [#]. When pressing the corresponding Expres Key I always get the Wacom standard setting [Shift].
Wacom Support thinks Adobe is responsible for the correct tablet integration.
Express Keys work properly in Lightroom Classic under MacOS 13 Ventura.

There’s another post here also reporting an Intous problem under Ventura, with a possible explanation:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/photoshop-amp-wacom-under-ventura-question/m-p/13364259#M686304

That post includes a link to a Wacom tech note and driver update for Ventura that says this, in case it’s the same problem:

quote

The current driver supports macOS 13 (Ventura). Note that due to reasons outside of Wacom’s control, opening Wacom Tablet Settings by clicking links in Wacom Center, pressing an ExpressKey, or using a 5-finger tap, etc. does not work in initial releases of macOS 13 Ventura…

Thank you, Conrad C, for trying to help me further. I know Wacom's advice about the new driver. And with this knowledge I did not get any further.
As you can read above, the PS issue seems to be solved now, but I have a new one with Lightroom.

Make sure you define settings for Photoshop specifically, and then if they don't work, open the Wacom control panel in Settings and select the application. This has been happening to me and its annoying but a quick fix.

As the recommendation says, I have already tried it several times before without success. Sometime later, after reinstalling the driver several times, I obviously did something right, and now I have my Express Keys set up the way I wanted.
I don't know yet if it will stay like this permanently, at the moment I hardly work in PS, but all the more in Lightroom. And in Lightroom the tablet causes problems (that's the reason for my uncertainty about PS).
The tablet crashes with LR once after half an hour, the other time after 5 minutes. All evening long. I always have to reinstall the driver, and then it runs again for a while until the next crash. Reinstalling drivers has become a routine for me, I can do it with my eyes closed today :•\.
At the moment, I have no way of testing the tablet with another computer.

I'm not seeing any crashes under Ventura on an M1 Mac. Its been totally stable. Also worked fine on my previous Intel iMac w/Big Sur and Monterey.
