Manage missing fonts has to be the dumbest PITA offering... please fix so that when we go to manage missing fonts we can actually manage them!! As it stands, the only way to change fonts is to have them already somewhere in the file, useless!!!!!!! We should be able to access ALL FONTS on our system when choosing what font to replace missing with!

@Todd_Morgan whoa what's with the hostilities here?

Not sure how you are installing your fonts. If you are manually installing the fonts through the Apps font folder, I could see how painful that would be.

But, if you install the fonts through your computer's operating system font manager is the better and recommended way because it makes the fonts universally available across all applications and provides better system-wide management and performance. I use Font Book on a MAC, it helps checks for corrupted or damaged font files during installation. This helps prevent system instability and crashes that can be caused by a faulty font —  it automatically runs a validation check. The app will notify you if it finds any issues with the font.

I don't think you understand my post (and frustration)...

when I go to manage missing fonts this is what I see:

For me to see the new font I want, I have to already have it in the file. Makes no sense...
