Mask wont export even when i merge layers

So i tried to export a file ive been working on for my clothing brand, but now the problem is that when i try to export it, a layer mask that im using won´t export with it. Even when I merge the layers the mask somehow still misses when exporting the file. I tried to change the document settings stated in some other discussions, but that all didn´t work for me. Does anyone know what the problem here could be?

In the files I showed the document in photoshop, the exported product (which already shows it didn't show the layer mask) and the file on a tee shirt in this example.

Thanks in advance.

The png »Tyson design for photoshop community.png« has transparency, so I don’t understand the problem.

yeah I need it as a png. But do you see the difference between the exported file and the file inside of photoshop. The layer mask becomes totally dark when exporting it.

I don’t see what the problem is supposd to be.

Placing the png on a black background seems to yield a similar result as your screenshot of the layered file.

The layer mask shows more on the left one than the right. I had merged the layers before (that is why it looks like there is already a layer mask on the right one) and then the layer mask did work. But after I realised it wasn't yet perfect, so I put another layer mask on the merged layer and since then the layer mask doesn't want to be exported anymore.

Do you see no difference? The 'darker' parts that have no redness or whatever are filled up with a overlay. Blending it in with the filter 'screen' to alt click the layer to mask it to the person. Now the thing is, I grouped all the layers and merged them together (with the overlay), only to find out that I wasn't totally happy with the result yet. In my opinion it was too dark (the black came out more because I put the overlay fill at 60 ish %). As you can see on the right picture it is darker and the overlay shows less, while on the left image I actually put another overlay on it (the same as I used before merging it) which means I could make the overlay appear just slightly more (again I put the overlay on with a lower fill cause I didn't want the overlay to fully show). But now when I export it, it just totally vanishes and it looks like the right picture again. Could you look again with full brightness? There is no way you can't see any difference between the dark parts of both images. Do you have any idea what the issue here is? Exporting settings or something with merging the layers?

No.

Whatever difference there may be it appears irrelevant to me.

Do you see the difference I mean now? The 'lighter' document has another overlay over it (the same as the one on the right so two overlays total) and the 'darker' document has just one overlay layer that has been merged before putting the same overlay over it again (which made the document lighter so that the overlay would appear  better). Do you understand it now?

The layer mask just doesnt export. Forget about the comparison between both pictures, the problem is that even when I merge the layers (layer mask and Mike Tyson) and then export it, the layer mask just vanishes. Do you know how to fix that

Most formats don't allow layers or masks. Some can have an alpha channel which can be used for masking. I'm not understanding what is wrong.
