Hello, I have a set of about 1000 images I am needing to collect histogram data from. I came across a tutorial for the mesaurment log/analysis feature in Ps and see that histogram is listed in the data points however I have hit a dead end in learning how to use this function specifcally for the histogram and recieve errors when the histogram data point is the only function selected. Can someone please point me in the right direction for how to use this function to pull histogram information? Is this even a way to use this tool? I could be completely misunderstanding. SOS

I think this doesn't actually work correctly and you can't do anything with the data in PS, anyway. You'd have to export the log to manipulate the values. In theory it would simply write the values to the log as you draw your markers, but from my own limited experience the entries in the log often simply disappear if e.g. a marker is too long and there's too much data. You may not be doing anything wrong, it just won't cooperate. It might be better to look into alternative apps and tools.

Thank you so much for your speedy reply. I was thinking as much, that this isn't really a way to use this feature. I appreciate you!
