Menu disappeared; file, edit, layers, etc.

Question

Still cannot see that top menu. File, Edit, layers and more is missing. Cannot get the layout like you have on top on my laptop. Works OK on my iMac

Did you try F? We need to find out if you are in Full Screen Mode — or not.

"Press the letter F on your keyboard to cycle from Standard Screen Mode to Full Screen Mode With Menu Bar. Press F again to switch to Full Screen Mode. Pressing F one more time will take you from Full Screen Mode back to the Standard Screen Mode. To cycle backwards through the screen modes, press Shift+F. Finally, I mentioned earlier that you can exit out of Full Screen Mode by pressing the Esc key on your keyboard, This returns you to Standard Screen Mode. Pressing F while in Full Screen Mode does the same thing."

I've branched your post from a six-year-old solved thread in 2018 to its own thread.

Please share a screenshot from your computer where you are missing the Menu bar. Is that computer Mac or Windows?

You might also try pressing F or Escape, which will take you out of the full screen view if that is the issue.
