Migrating documents from PS beta with layerfunctions to standard PS

Hi, how do you migrate from Photoshop Beta documents with maintaning layerfunctions back to the newest version of PS?

When I try to open documents created in Beta with ordinary PS, the layerfunctions/effects disappears.

It says I have to merge layers in order to make them show.

    Carry on using the beta until a release version has the same functionality, and hope it works the same way.
    As Kevin points out, that is a normal result of using a new feature in a Beta - it will not work in a release version until the feature is launched outside of Beta. It is one of several reasons why a Beta is never recommended for commercial use.

      Hi @Mikael S Eriksson thats the risk with using Beta software - there are newer features and functions that may not translate back to the same codebase as general public release Photoshop. You could try converting the layers to a smart object, save, then open and expand in PS 25.0 but I'm guessing that wont work either.
