Missing Search Icon and other stuff

I was pleased to have the new search icon on joining CC....now suddenly it's disappeared!!  The Shortcut for it doesn't work either (Ctrl+F ).  I also seem to have lost the ability to open the 'new guide layout' box i.e. the option under 'view' just isn't there!!!

I've done something really basic and can't figure out what it is.  Can anyone help?
