missing tools

 I recentl upgraded to PS 2024. I cannot find the shape tool,  curvature pen tool and several others. Can anyone help?

In photoshop 2024 go to Edit>Toolbar, click Restore Defaults then Done.

Have you used custom toolbars, and/or custom workspaces in previous versions?  If yes then some tools might be ommited as Jeff has suggested.  You might be able to fix it by selecting another workspace, or resetting the workspace you are using.  I reserve the default Essentials workspace with entirely default settings.  That lets me get back to defaults by simply selecting Essentuals.
