One computer around here still has an older OS version and Photoshop CC 2019 installed; the behaviour appears to be the same there.

So unless someone can demonstrate how to rectify it it might be a long-standing issue.

But I could not find an existing Bug Report, so maybe no one had noticed it so far?

It's strange since it works without pentool. I thought it might be my gpu but since you have the same issue it might be a bug!

    Hope it gets solved!

    thanks

Are you using the Mixer Brush Tool at »Dry, Heavy Load« to »Stroke path with brush«?

If so then it seems I can reproduce the issue (Photoshop 25.3.1 on Mac OS 14.1.2) and it might be a bug.

But with your design I suspect it would be better done in Illustrator anyway.
