Last week I installed a monthly prescription of Photoshop CC as a student. They gave me the 2015 version and I need the 2017 version so I can follow my lecturer online. I have been on the phone on hold for over and hour now. How can I change to the 2017?
I was told to do an update and now its all gd. Thankyou.

It seems odd that you would be receiving a 2015 version if you only recently installed it.
Firstly check that your system has the system requirements to install the more current versions.

Thanks Kate.

Did you purchase the product directly from Adobe or was it made available to you through your educational institution?
Also when you click on updates under help does this bring up the Desktop app?
Can you look at an 'Other Versions' option and install a more recent version from there?

Who prescribed the 2015 version? Was it a real professor or one of those fake professor assistants (PA)? I don't think they should allow PA's to be prescribing stuff.
