Hi!

We have one user who is encountering an issue where, when he using tools in photoshop (like lasso) it is not dragging over the area that he wants to lasso. If he tries to select menu options at the top it is selecting the options about 1-2 inches over from the where the cursor is located. I have read some other articles about this and have not found a resolution.

Device:

- Dell

- Windows 11 23H2

- Newest version of Photoshop installed.

Steps taken so far:

- Reset Preferences.

- Reinstalled Application.

- Checked GPU compatibility = passed.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

Thank you!

After working with Adobe Support for over 4 hours with no results, one of my colleagues made a great suggestion. She suggested to adjust the Windows display scaling settings. We found they were set to 150%, changing to 100% resolved issue.

Hi!

You mentioned that you have reset the preferences? Have you also Reset the tools? In the Options bar, select the Tool Preset drop down menu, and select the gear icon in the top right of the window, and from the menu choose Reset All tools.

Let us know if that helps, or if the problem still persists. And if the problem still persists, please show us a screen shot of the issue.
