I would like to know if it's possible to move my watermark behind one of my photos i've searched but can't seen to find out how to.

  • If you have a layered file, you can reorder the layers in the Layers panel.
  • If there is one layer, then there is no "behind", as all the pixels are on one layer.

I am not entirely clear on what you would like to achieve Mike.  Can you give us a screen shot with a more in-depth description please?

One thing that occurs to me is that you might want a watermark to appear as if it is behind an image, so that you'd see a sort of emboss effect. So if we take the Copyright symbol on the image below

What we can do is give it a layer style and set its Fill Opacity to zero

What this does is make the object fully transparent, but we can still see the layer style — in this case Bevel & Emboss

You could further hide the watermark by simply reducing the normal layer opacity, or using a more subtle Layer Style
