Dear community, dear Adobe support,
Something i am struggeling for a while now is the question: Is Photoshop batch processing capable of multithreading? I know it is not possible directly, but there may be a way in the Adobe ecosystem that I am not aware of.
Well, and if it is not - would it be possible to implement it some day?
I have to do a lot of batch processing when i am working on 360° image sequences. In detail, i take 48 photos on my 360° table, do some basic adjustments (like RAW & clipping settings) and export these images as previews. Befor i can take the photographed subject off my 360° table i have to control the final sequence. Unfortunately this takes very long, while my system runs at 0.1% CPU load, because every image is processed separately. It would be so much faster if there were 48 processes running for me 😉
This is worse when finally exporting the images after i get the clipping paths and run the image sequences through my scripts for the final delivery.
Yes, i need the batch scripting in my workflow - so there are no alterntive methods available for me. Right?
