Multiples bugs with vanishing point

Vanishing Point tool is completely unusable even after clearing my settings. I'm able to paste images fine and drag them into the blue grid, but the behavior is unpredictable and broken.

1. The biggest problem is that, after pasting content and moving it in the grid, the content does not align with its bounding box and moving it around is unpredictable.
2. After opening the vanishing point tool, the photo is not centered which wouldn't be an issue except the Hand tool does not work, so I'm not able to move the photo around

In the screenshot, I'm using PS 2024, but the issue persists in '23 and Beta.

Having the same issue for the past 4 months. I tried everything you did and no resolutions. Hoping Adobe can sort this out with the next update.

Unfixed as of 2025 (26.3.0). VP produces unaligned garbage.

Same issue with me. Hasn't worked properly over multiple versions of PS over the past 12 months. I'm on a Apple M1 Max with 32GB RAM running macOS 14.0. Resetting preferences doesn't help. It seems like the first vanishing point edit works, clumsily. And if you go back to make edits, forget about it.

I'm having this same issue with my 2022 MacBook Pro. Have tried all the uninstall/reboot variations to no avail.

I tried:
1. uninstalling every adobe app

2. uninstalling CC itself

3. restarting my computer

4. reinstalling PS

Problem still exists.

I tested this on a new computer with a brand new installation of Photoshop and the problem wasn't there, so this means there's something going wrong with my device. I tried deleting settings and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. The problem persists on this device. Is there a way to completely reset Photoshop? Is it possible that the Creative Cloud app is holding onto some settings?
