I installed all the Canon drivers correctly, but for some reason I can't get my Canon PIXMA G7020 All-in-One Printer to show up as a scanner when I'm trying to scan directly from Photoshop (latest Cloud version). Another model Canon all-in-one printer, however, shows up just fine (imageCLASS MF229dw). I know the G7020 scanner works, because I was able to use Canon's own scanner utility software successfully. It's connected via wired LAN (Ethernet), just as the 229 model is. What could be happening here? I'm on Windows 10 64-bit.
And while I'm at it, I'm going to put in a feature request that Adobe simplify the nomenclature for scanning. Why in the world should you go to something cryptic like "File > Import > WIA Support" when you could simply go to "File > Scan"??
