My content-aware tracing is horribly inaccurate

I'm tracing a logo for illustrator which is a very complex shape, albeit with all straight lines. I'm using the content-aware tracing tool, but it's super inaccurate if i zoom in on the trace. It does a good job if I'm zoomed all the way into the image, but if I'm zoomed out it goes horribly wrong.

Are there settings I can alter to make it accurate? The image is huge and high res so it shouldn't be having this big an issue with borders.

    Hi @ob_default39439437! Welcome to the community!

    Does this inaccuracy happen with all images or just specific ones, like the complex shape you're trying to trace? The Content-Aware Tracing tool is still in development, which is why it's under Technology Previews. It might not be completely production-ready yet, so some inaccuracies are expected.
