Been using current Photography workspace for some time now, but for some reason, this morning Jan 3 2025 it has changed. I've lost a lot of Actions, all the colour codes for the Actions buttons have turned grey. how do I get everything back to how I like it? My system is Windows 11, latest version.

Thank you for your swift reply.

There appears to have been  some type of a reset, for example the various Options for the Tools was no longer visible (I've restored those). I've saved the Workspace and managed to recover the Actions.

Sounds like your workspace changed and you solved it by creating a new workspace. And yeah, always make sure to save what you make somewhere far away from the app folders.

The reply is actually the same. Your preferences weren't written correctly at shutdown. The most common reason is that the application crashes at shutdown. Crashes, in turn, are usually caused by GPU problems.

The golden rule for actions is to always save them out and keep them in a safe place.

Until you save out, actions just exist as temporary items in your Preferences file. Preferences are prone to corruption because they are rewritten on every application exit. An irregular shutdown can corrupt them.

Hi,

I didn't make myself clear, I was simply using Actions (a poor choice I now
realize) as an example; the whole of my Photography Workspace has changed.
