Question

My Students are getting an issue not able to open files or save them. Photoshop 25.1

When they try and open a file they get the "Open from Creative Cloud Screen"

The button "On your Computer" will not be able to be pressed.

Their version is 25.1 Photoshop

When they try and save, the grey window opens but no information is displayed. We can exit out of both windows, but it is frustrating for students to have no recourse.

If our IT needs to do something to fix this, what should I be directed them to do?

Thanks

So locally is users\name\onedrive\documents\adobe\Photoshop Cloud Associates\

We don't get a choice to save to the cloud as my IT has turned it off, but for students it gives failure to sync with cloud. Again my bypass to open a picture in file explorer with Photoshop works.

You can turn off syncing so that wouldn't be it. When you say locally, be specific. On the computer hard drive, server, ?

The files are kept locally and IT have blocked our use of Cloud for
Adobe. I think the Cloud Sync is what is causing the error, as it
cannot sync so stops file opening or saving.

Where are these files stored? The error says sync isn't working, I'd have the IT folks check your network access.

I found a solution that might work. I noticed if students open an image with Photoshop from file explorer it seems unlock the programs save and open functioning. Definitely an issue that should be addressed.
