Also the TM symbol is in the legacy custom shapes if it isn't in there on the newest versions.

Turn on numeric lock on your keyboard.

With the Type tool selected, hold down Alt key + type 0153 on numeric keypad.

 

I think the custom shapes panel has one too.  It might be under legacy Shapes.
