Need help installing TPL file

I recently downloaded a couple of (tpl) files. I have the newest version of photoshop, however everytime I try to load my tool presets I receive the error "Could not load tool preset _______ because the file is not compatible with this version of photoshop". Along with that message, some files I try to open in photoshop also state "could not load tool preset becuase of a program error". 

 

I need help, I really want to try out these brushes, but I keep trying and it's leading me nowhere at this point. Please help!

Tpl is a storage type file and doesn't run anything... also Adobe keeps changing the steps for loading them so you have to tell us which V you have

    Yeah I went under window and tried to load through took preset that way. Since this file was a rat folder I thought that might've been the issue. 

    I found out that the rar file extractor that I used wasn't compatible with photoshop. I ended up downloading winrar instead and the tpl file imported perfectly!
