Need to hold last frame of gif after looping twice - export from .mov file

Overview:

I am creating some animated ads in After Effects (from templates provided by my client), then exporting them to .mov files

After this, I open them in Photoshop in order to export them as gifs.

After the gif plays twice, I would like to have the last "frame" stay there (client logo, CTA button, etc.) but those disappear, leaving just a black rectangle (the background color of the ads).

Can someone help please? Thank you!

Hi Elaine,

As you want to freeze the frame after the gif plays twice, I would recommend you to duplicate all the frames on the timeline. After doing that the gif would play only once, but the frames will repeat and it will create an illusion of the gif playing twice.

I appreciate this - but I am going from a .mov file and exporting to .gif.

So the files are video, not set up as frames - should I try converting to frames and do it as you explained?
