Need to repair a photo which had red ink pen drawn on it

have a colour photo which had some red ink drawn on it, on a white wedding dress. 98% ink removed using of all things, baby wipes & shaving foam, but still have some remnants, only visible when zoomed. I was hoping for a colour replacement option to replace the red with white, HELP Please

Please post the entire image, or a large portion of it, so that we are able to see the problem and test approaches.

Without seeing the problem, the first thing that would come to my mind would be using the clone tool to patch tool.
