Neon Signs in Photoshop

Hey all, Is there a way to make neon signs look realistic as the picture shown? I do know how to do the whole neon effect but it looks fake. I am trying to get it to look as the picture shown. With the lighting on the wall and all.. Thanks! :^)

a neon is a type of light i.e, glow effect... the difference is where the light is coming from
