Neural Filter Harmonization Not Identifying Layers

Anyone else having a problem with the Harminization filter not identifying all Layers in the panel?

There are times when I have had 2 Layers in the Layers Panel and only showing 1 when using the Harmonization filter. Layer I want to change is selected prior to opening this filter. Not sure why the Neural filters are kept in Beta mode. Some of these filters have been out for several years. Maturity level should move them out of Beta.

Thanks

Hi @westdr1dw! Just checking in—could you let us know if you're still seeing the same issues? There’s been a new Photoshop update since your last comment, so we’re curious if that made any difference.

Thanks so much!

Hello Aleke;

My apologies for not responding until now. All appears to be working well on the Harmonization filter. I was able to run a few images with no concerns. Thanks for the follow up.

Hi @westdr1dw

Thanks for reaching out! I just want to make sure I understand what you’re asking. Are you trying to apply a neural filter to multiple layers at once? If that’s the case, one way to do it is by selecting the layers you want, then converting them into a smart object. That way, the filter will apply to the whole group as a single unit.

Let me know if that’s what you meant, or feel free to clarify — happy to help!

Cheers,
Alek

No, not trying to apply at once.

Example; Import object into an image. The object shows in the Layers panel. When applying the Harmonization filter the Object Layer is not showing as one of the Layers I want to apply the filter to. I can create multiple copies of the background layer and these will show as an option.
