Neural Filters orange exclamation mark

I've just updated to the latest version of photoshop. For some reason my neural filters are greyed out (not in the menu, I see this problem exists in other threads, this is speecifically after I open the nueral filters, I cannot use any even if they are downloaded). There is an orange exclamation but not dialogue explaining the error. I've tried on multiple black and white photos, no change in result. Any idea what's going on?

Hi @defaultzq50txhvgy5r curious if something happened in the update?

 

Let's make sure we're in a default state and there are no stale settings somewhere: 

Restore your preferences using this manual method:

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

 

 

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

I am having the same issue. I can't find the preferences folder for Photoshop I am using based on the link you sent. Only acrobat files in preferences folder. However photoshop has been downloaded and installed on my mac.

Hi! I am having the same issue unfortunately. The neural filters were working fine and then I updated to the new version of photoshop earlier in the year and they all went grey with an orange exclamation mark, I have been trying for months to get it to work again and nothing is working. I followed your link above and tried that, I have tried what other people thought might work. I have the latest version of photoshop and have updated my drivers. I am at a loss as to what to do! 😞 Please help!!

If still not working and you  have tried Cory's manual Preference reset, have you also tried a full reinstall?  The nuclear option is to run the Cleaner Tool before reinstalling. I wouldn't suggest it, but if you have tried the manual Preference reset, then should have everything bacxk to their default settings, so it would eliminate something being set wrong.
