New adjustment brush not working

Hi, 

Latest version of PS!

I am trying to use the new adjustment brush, despite following instructions to the letter, when I paint onto image having chosen, for example Exposure. Nothing happens when I paint on the image it has no effect what so ever? Despite trying many times on different images it produse this same result. Has anyone else experienced this?

What version macOS and Photoshop are you using?

Can you post a screenshot of Photoshop after you've applied the Adjustment Brush Tool?
