New Brush Technology

Hi there

Photoshop is due for updated brush tehnology. Corel painter has much new brush features, like their real watercolor brushes and their thick paint brushes. 

But Photoshop has fallen behind, the most recent update to their technology was in CS5 with the Mixer brush. 

Is anyone know if there are new brush tech planned for future releases?
