New Features

Hi folks.

I just watched a video on Youtube by Matt Kloskowski on Photoshop's new features.

One of them was about Layers, where changing for 'normal' to one of the others, there was a 'live view' to let you see what the result would be.

My PS is up todate yet this doesn't happen on my PS.

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi

You mention that PS is up to date but failed to mention which version you have, the live preview for blend modes was added to CC 2019

Version 19.1.6 is CC 2018, open the Creative Cloud desktop app and click on the 3 dots and select check for app updates

Hi, If you want to use live preview for blend modes then you have to download the latest version of the Adobe photoshop.

The latest version is "20.0"

If you haven't seen the updates in adobe creative cloud  then make sure your system have these requirements.

Photoshop system requirements

If you are using window version then make sure you have the Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows 10* (Version 1709 or later)

It would appear I have another issue then.

My Creative Cloud reports Ver 20 but my program reports Ver 19

I'll check to make sure CC is installing in the correct place.

Well well. Look what I found

Hi, It seems like you have installed the both versions. Cc 2018 and Cc 2019. If your Creative cloud shows ver 20 then  Search in your programs for  Cc 2019.

Click here for open Cc 2019.
