New Text/Type issues

Type Character settings have gone haywire.

Issue 1:

I set type point size to 13pt with 13pt leading. After a few seconds, type point size changes to a random decimal (12.99pt or 12.87pt) and the leading switches to 'auto'.

Why is it changing values to decimal by itself and I do not wish to work with 'auto leading'.

Issue 2:

Type values change automatically when resizing.

Example: Created type at 13pt. Cropped image and went to add more text (new layer) and the type values are no longer at 13pt. They're now at random sizes. (ie. 67.44pt, 88.43pt, etc.).

Values have NEVER changed to decimals until a few days ago.

Additional information:

Nothing updated (I do not have auto updates set). It was normal one second and the next second.. all of this.

Ad 2) What were the exact and complete Crop-settings?

That's not the issue. Regardless of crop settings, just clicking on another open document changes values in Character box. It's hard to explain what's happening so I just chose cropping as an example of that.

Then please post screenshots or a screen-recording with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Character, Options Bar, …) visible to illustrate.

Have you reset the Type tool? Are your type settings in points and not pixels or another unit?
