No Generative Fill Feature?

New Here ,
Oct 09, 2023 Oct 09, 2023

I am an Adobe Creative Cloud subscriber and am running Photoshop v.25 as of 15 days ago. I never explored or installed Photoshop Beta, but was under the impression Generative Fill is now available in the regular Photoshop app and was hoping to use it today.

I am running the desktop software on a 2021 Macbook Pro, OS Ventura 13.5.2. I have the option to use Content Aware Fill, but can see no Generative AI settings or features anywhere within the application when running.

Are you sure your actually using photoshop 2024 (ps ver 25.0) and not photoshop 2023 (ps ver 24.7.1)?

The shortcut in your dock could be pointing the wrong photoshop version.

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

Is Edit > Generative Fill present (even if grayed out)?
